A News obsessive finds himself at the centre of the story. This obsessed man's attempts to isolate himself become increasingly frantic when the outside world calls. As the world comes under attack, he seeks shelter behind locked doors - but he can't keep out the news. His fears worsen as he starts receiving several ominous phone calls.









The Oak Tree
In a peaceful village in the mounts of Lebanon, an old man named Fadel, makes a living from crafting canes for the elderly villagers. After a client places an order, Fadel heads to the forest to look for the right branch and finds the perfect one on an isolated oak tree. However, the branch is not long enough, Fadel marks the tree with a green cloth. After few weeks, Fadel comes back to cut the branch. However, as he arrives in front of the tree, he discovers it has turned into a religious shrine and the villagers are seeking its blessings. Although intrigued and confused, Fadel remains determined to cut the branch and deliver the cane to his client.










VIE (LIFE)
As she wakes up, Valerie finds herself floating on a piece of wood by the lakeside while a man is staring at her. He gets closer and orders her to attach a large framed mirror around her neck using a rope. Valerie follows the man through the forest to reach the destination but she must obey one vital rule: to never look in the mirror.


Loophole
A political prisoner in Iran accused of murdering a government’s official during a demonstration is being interrogated by a Doctor. Tension begins to raise between them when the Doctor insists that the prisoner's mind has been manipulated by the enemy forces and needs to be cured with an antidote.
